Extraordinary experiences for a brighter world.

International veterinary journeys combining excellent medicine, meaningful impact, and extraordinary places.

You shouldn't have to choose between seeing the world, becoming a better veterinarian, giving back, and taking care of yourself. With Vivere, you don't have to.

Why Vivere?

Why choose?

If you're going to take the time, spend the money, and travel halfway around the world, why shouldn't you get everything you want from the experience?

Vivere creates international veterinary experiences where excellent medicine, meaningful contribution, adventure, education, wellness, and extraordinary destinations come together.

You can work hard—and still rest.

You can learn—and still explore.

You can give back—and still enjoy yourself.

You can travel somewhere extraordinary—and make a difference while you're there.

You shouldn't have to choose.

The Vivere Standard

Excellent Medicine

International doesn't mean compromising. We bring high standards of veterinary medicine, surgery, anesthesia, safety, sterility, and patient comfort wherever we work. We don't believe that working in a different setting means accepting a lower standard of care.

Meaningful Impact

We work alongside local veterinary and animal welfare organizations to support the animals and communities they serve. Your time, skills, and participation help support work that continues beyond your visit.

Extraordinary Experiences

Beautiful places. Great food. Adventure. Wellness. Yoga. Time to explore. Time to rest. And a group of like-minded veterinary professionals to experience it with. Because meaningful work doesn't have to mean sacrificing the experience.

Ecuador HVSN Training Retreat

Your next adventure: Ecuador

January 2–10, 2027

Spend eight nights experiencing Ecuador while building or refining your HVSN surgical skills. You'll spend three days in the hospital performing hands-on HVSN surgery, participate in a day of community veterinary outreach, earn 15 hours of CE (RACE approval pending), and experience the Andes through cultural experiences, adventure, wellness, and time to simply enjoy being there. Up to 40% of your trip cost is donated directly to Amici Cannis.

Only 9 participant spots available.

Who is Vivere for?

For veterinarians who want more from the experience.

Vivere is for veterinary professionals who want to:

  • Travel somewhere extraordinary.
  • Build or refine their surgical skills.
  • Work alongside local veterinary professionals.
  • Make a meaningful contribution.
  • Meet other like-minded veterinary professionals.
  • Experience another culture.
  • Take care of their own wellbeing.
  • And actually have fun doing it.

Veterinary technicians and LVTs are welcome, and significant others are welcome to join the adventure, too.

Your experience can help create a better one for someone else.

Vivere works alongside local veterinary and animal welfare organizations to make sure our journeys have a purpose beyond the people taking part in them. In Ecuador, we're partnering with Amici Cannis, with up to 40% of each participant's trip cost going directly to support their work.

Ready to stop choosing?

See the world. Do meaningful work.

Become a better veterinarian. Take care of yourself.

Why choose just one?

The philosophy

You work hard enough. Your vacation doesn't have to be another sacrifice. Your CE dollars don't have to be spent sitting in a conference room. And meaningful veterinary work doesn't have to mean rough accommodations, exhausting schedules, or compromising on medical standards. You can make a difference and take care of yourself, too. That's Vivere.

Future journeys

Ecuador is just the beginning. We're building a collection of veterinary journeys around the world—each designed to combine meaningful veterinary work with exceptional destinations and experiences. Some will focus on surgical education. Some will bring experienced veterinary professionals together to operate and contribute. All will have a veterinary component.
